BIO / ABOUT ME

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Design and Innovation at Southern Methodist University, building on my background in Human Development and Family Science with a specialization in Early Childhood Development. I’m passionate about understanding people’s needs and translating those insights into meaningful design solutions. I aim to not only create products that enrich lives but also tell meaningful stories through research—stories that inspire design decisions and connect with real human experiences. My long-term goal is to bring the belief that design is everywhere into every project I contribute to.

I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Dallas, spent four years in Austin, two years in Anaheim, a year in Boston, and four years in Düsseldorf, Germany. Each of these places shaped me in ways beyond just geography—they influenced how I see the world, connect with people, and solve problems. Sometimes, it feels like what we studied in college defines who we are, but for me, it’s my experiences across cultures and collaborations that truly shape how I approach design and research.

From supporting refugee communities in Germany to diving deep into UX research, I’ve learned that human connection is at the heart of everything I do. When I’m not geeking out over user insights or prototyping my next big idea, you’ll find me enjoying the chaos and joy of parenthood, planning the next trip, or lost in a good show with a cup of coffee.
